    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: June 13, 2026

Your privacy matters, especially when you are reaching out for help. This policy explains, in plain language, how JohnHelp handles your information.

    1. Information you provide

When you search or chat, you may type things like what you need help with, your ZIP code, and details about your situation. We use this only to find and suggest relevant services and to respond to you in the moment.

    2. We don't ask for sensitive identifiers

The only thing JohnHelp ever asks for is an optional first name, so John can greet you, and you are free to skip even that. We never ask for your full legal name or financial account details, and anything you share stays private and secure, and is never sold. Please do not share sensitive information like a Social Security number in your messages.

    3. How your messages are used

To answer you, your search terms and chat messages are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. They are used to produce your results and are not used to publicly identify you.

    4. How we keep your information safe

Your privacy and safety come first. Everything you share with John, your conversations by web, phone, and text, along with any name or phone number, is encrypted while stored, using strong industry-standard encryption (AES-256). The keys that unlock it are kept separately in a secure, managed key vault, never alongside your data. Only authorized staff can view your information, and we keep only what we need to help you.

    5. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not require an account to get help.

    6. Cookies and analytics

JohnHelp aims to keep tracking to a minimum. Any data collected is used to keep the service working and to improve how helpful it is.

    7. Children

JohnHelp is intended for adults seeking help. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

    8. Your choices

You can use JohnHelp without creating an account, and you can choose what to share. To ask a question about your information, email hello@johnhelp.com.

    9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.

JohnHelp is an independent service and is not affiliated with findhelp.org.
